Echo Park Film Center and Filmmobile Privacy Policy

Summary

Echo Park Film Center is a volunteer-run, non-profit (501c3) media arts organization. We run a community microcinema and meeting space, provide free and nominal cost media arts education programs, rent out film equipment, provide media editing capabilities, and run a touring film festival. Filmmobile - the mobile film and video classroom - is a program of the Echo Park Film Center that allows us to take our classes and screenings on the road. What follows is the EPFC and Filmmobile's online privacy policy, which governs personal information gathered on our Internet sites (www.echoparkfilmcenter.org, www.filmmobile.org).

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Information We Collect:

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the filmmobile.org and the echoparkfilmcenter.org websites. Both sites are owned by Echo Park Film Center, a 501C3 non-profit media art organization located in Echo Park California.

On some pages, you can order products, make a donation, make requests, register to receive materials, and sign up for an email subscription. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

We not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13. In addition, no part of our sites are designed with the purpose of attracting any person under age 13.

If you register to be on our email subscription list, we will send you bi-monthly emails with news regarding the Echop Park Film Center and the Filmmobile. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy:

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
